About the Event
Battle of the bands expressing the Gita's philosophy.
Rules & Regulations
- Number of Participants per Team: 5 – 7
- Total Number of Teams: 15
- Number of Entries Allowed per School: 2
- Time Duration: 6 minutes. A time span of 3 minutes is given for the performance, 1 minute is given for explaining the theme, and 2 minutes is given for set-up.
- The team should consist of a vocalist, a percussionist, and a musical instrumentalist. The team can have a maximum of 3 vocalists.
- Participating schools should submit a list of instruments they are going to use at the time of registration.
- Participants must bring their own instruments. Traditional Indian instruments are welcome.
- Permitted instruments: Keyboard, Guitar, Violin, Veena, Mridangam/Tabla/Dholak, Cajon, Flute, Drumpad/Handsonic.
- Acoustic drum sets, Pianos, and DJ Systems/Turntables are strictly NOT allowed.
Judging Criteria
Gita Quotient – 40%Musicality – 30%Song Choice – 20%Stage Presence – 10%
